The purpose of this course is to strengthen your competencies in cardiometabolic disease prevention and community-based supportive care.  It is envisioned that you will transfer the competencies that you will gain through this short course to the many students that you train.

The course duration is 6 weeks of 24 hours each and is organized in 7 modules as follows:

Introductory module: Essentials of cardiometabolic diseases
Module 1: Obesity in Community Health Practice 
Module 2: Dyslipidaemia in Community Health Practice 
Module 3: Diabetes Mellitus in Community Health Practice 
Module 4: Cardiovascular Disease in Community Health Practice 
Module 5: Metabolic dysfunction-associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) in Community Health Practice 
Module 6: Kidney Disease in Community Health Practice
