Program Competence
The program is designed to enable participants manage a functional, efficient, reliable, and responsive Health Supply Chain Unit for Hospitals, Health Facilities and Medical stores at all levels of healthcare in South Sudan.
Duration: 40 Hours
Module Content
The program comprises 10 modules units which are designed as key competency areas for the participants.
- Module 1: Hospital/Health Facility Leadership and Management
- Module 2: Introduction to Health Supply Chain Management
- Module 3: Public Health Commodities (Selection)
- Module 4: Quantification, Forecasting, & Inventory Management
- Module 5: Health Products Procurement
- Module 6: Storage and Distribution
- Module 7: Pharmaceutical Regulation
- Module 8: Dispensing and Use
- Module 9: Health Information Management Systems
- Module 10: Resilience of Health Supply Chain in Pandemics
Entry Requirements: The minimum entry requirement for participants to undertake the program is at least a Diploma Holder in (Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Midwifery/nursing, Medical Laboratory, Nutrition).
