Iam a consultant Psychiatrist (MBChB, MMED Psychiatry) working at Meru Teaching and referral hospital. I have been the head of mental health unit for the past 6 years. Our mental health unit serves the whole of Meru county together with all its neighboring counties.Having done senior management course and strategic leadership development programme from Kenya School of Government, I still need to improve on my leadership, management and governance skills to effectively offer leadership in mental health in the region.
