Edgar is a passionate health promoter, a leader in Public Health Planning and Management; and an avid scholar of Health Service provision and continuous health care improvement. His interest in Health Services, Planning and Management has seen him become a national T.O.T on the same. In 2014, he participated in the development of the “ ophthalmic clinical officers' curriculum for training OCOs in Uganda”
I have enormous interest in Community Health Insurance (CHI) as an alternative funding mechanism for the health sector
My routine activities include, but not, limited to:
Offering Technical support to sites offering VMMC as part of the high impact HIV prevention modalities
Providing administrative leadership to ensure quality of service provision and client satisfaction
Participate in ophthalmic activities and outreaches
Prepare work orders and instructions for grinding lenses
prepare and submit reports to management
Utilization of data to inform decision making
